As we know India is known for its hospitality and cultures around the globe .
Moreover states have their respective rituals and customs . different and gracefully they embrace their respective customs.
Festivals : A mere mention of India, creates a picture of varied festivals. Home to multi-cultural and multi-religious place is a home several festivals.
Throughout the year, in one part or other in India celebrates a festival. Festivals are the very essence of Indian culture and heritage. From religious events, celebrations of the season, days commemorating special events to other occasions, and festivals are the remarkable fiestas.
The experience of Indian customs is surely one of the best memories the country has to offer.

One of the most beautiful states among these I reside in is Odisha.
Odisha is the 8th largest state by area and 11th largest by population.
Odisha, an eastern Indian state is home to many ancient Hindu temples where worshipping God, seeking blessings every morning mostly by every Odia devotee, and following all the rituals is the ultimate cheer of being an Odia.
It varies in every possible thing you can point to like traditions , rituals especially it is rich in superstitons, architecture, carvings and crafts and delicious foods.

Temple visits are the most peaceful moments of my life.
It provides me peace and soothes my chaotic mind.
Puri, the place of Lord Jagannath the most soothing and most visited tourist spot in Odisha.
The temple of Jagannath at Puri is a masterpiece of the architectural style.
Even though other famous temples like Konark Temple, and Lingaraj temple are way more gracefully build and carved and counted in as tourist spots.

The prime fact yet is The 2023 Men’s FIH Hockey World Cup was held at Odisha’s largest Stadium, The Kalinga Stadium and the new in city Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium .

Odisha is yet a beautiful place, no wonders.

So being a foodie and a proud Odia, it's unfair to mention the Odisha’s delicious foods. Odisha has always been famous for Pakhala (water rice)
which is been kept overnight to get a sour taste and serve with cucumber and some fries but if you go with my choice it goes best with fish fries.
Moreover we can have it with curd and cucumber or give it a tadka with cumin seeds or mustards and dry chilies and garnish it with curry leaves.
It acts as a refreshing food source especially in the summer seasons which replenishes the nutrients in the human body.
It is unknown when pakhaḷa was first included in the daily diet of Eastern India, but it was included in the recipe of Lord Jagannath Temple of Puri
circa the 10th centuary.A special day, March 20, is celebrated in Odisha as Pakhala Dibasa every year.
All Odia people celebrate this day by serving themselves and their families with refreshing pakhalas with some dried roasted vegetables.

So let's talk about the renowned dance art form of Odisha, Odissi which I had also been a part of and it was such an admirable dance form of my life.
Though not a part of it anymore but the parts of my life with Odissi were really amazing.
Odissi dance form can be broken down into the movement of the head, bust, and the accompanying gestures and expressions. the hand gestures called Mudraas are the most important movements in the dance form.
The range of emotions portrayed is huge and touches every emotional chord.

India and its rich states can never differ from each other. Moreover having beautiful customs and traditions are what makes them more graceful.
Being an Odia is a pride to me, but anyhow we all are Indians, children of our motherland ,India.

Jai Hind.
